New York City based photographer Chip Simons is known for his humorus and conceptual approach to all things Americana. Over the past few years Simons has begun shooting images like these for a series of postcards with a pseudo-vintage corniness that he says serves as an antidote to advertising and editorial constraints. “No one likes color anymore, and no one likes comedy. But jokes and puns generate images in my brain.”
