This photography series by Marco Ugolini and Pedro Motta seeks to subvert the power of manipulation of corporate giants by organizing supermarket products in specific color groups. From black and white to red and blue, it’s really interesting to see just how everyday objects can be used to create thought provoking images.
Love this idea. The white basket might be my favorite. I've been wanting to do something similar w/ color groupings using stuff around my house for my Project 365 photo project.
ReplyDeleteBut back to the supermarket photos, how cool would it be to see the aisles organized by color? Ok, shopping would take 10x longer until you got the hang of it, so maybe not. ;)
What a great idea!! Supermarket aisles organized by color. I wonder how long it would take to accomplish such a feat!
ReplyDeleteThat might not be such a bad idea. When I worked at a bookstore there was a customer who was asking for a particular book that she didn't know the name of but it "had a blue cover." It would have been so convenient to just be able to point her to the blue books section!
ReplyDeleteThen again... this would probably be a nightmare for color blind people.
I LOvE this...it's wonderful how such a simple concept creates so many levels of beauty and concept. Thanks for sharing!
