Submerged Art Installations Made of our Marine Trash

Artists Mathieu Goussin and Hortense Le Calvez aka Forlane 6 Studio create innovative underwater sculptures out of clothing, streamers, and found furniture. In response to our time of climate change, their work explores the damaging effects of mindless consumption. Speaking about their work Mathieu and  Hortense said, "The studio intent is to investigate phenomenon imposed by the underwater space through the medium of sculpture and installation. When submerged the objects seem to metamorphose and become organic creatures. Their role in space is no longer fixed or static."
