Vivid Photographs of Tents in the Remote Wilderness
Hrafnkell Sigurdsson's "Vivid Tents" is a series of minimalist images of empty tents situated in the heart of the Icelandic landscape. In each photograph, the tent assumes a giant-sized part of the shot, infiltrating the natural vistas and amazing geologic formations where they are situated with startling effect. The series deals with the isolation and solitude of man faced with the immensity of the landscape.
