Beautiful Mobile Sculptures Made from Everyday Objects

Artist Hanna Sandin creates beautiful Calder-inspired suspended mobiles using everyday objects. The very large structures are made of industrial surplus and organic material such as rubber gaskets, lint traps, mop heads and fish bones. Objects such as aluminum doorway thresholds and clear ceiling light panels become shape, color and texture to form these impressive mobiles. Hanna Sandin's sculptures speak of accumulation and materiality and encourage debate about ecology and recycling.
