Intricate Cardboard Sculptures by Dylan Shields

Artist Dylan Shields creates masterful sculptures made of discarded cardboard boxes and packing tape. Dylan bends, twists and folds pieces of cardboard to build three-dimensional recreations of classic artworks. “It has been a process of trial and error to perfect my style,” he says, “One of the challenges of working with cardboard is the limitation of its flexibility. Also, sourcing the right colours has been difficult as I don’t paint the sculptures, so the colours have to come from the cardboard.”
