Book Sculptures by Odires Mlászho

As part of the 2013 Venice Art Biennale, Brazilian artist Odires Mlászho has created a series of new works using massive volumes of Encyclopedia Britannica. Inspired by the Möbius strip, the encyclopedias have been disfigured, altered and transformed into new book-sculptures. Odires Mlászho will showcase his works at the Latin American pavilion together with artworks by Max Bill, Lygia Clark, and Bruno Munari, three prominent names of the 20th-century international art scene.
