An Old Tin Shed is Transformed into a Cozy Modern Studio

Located in the inner-city suburb of Redfern, Sydney, Australia,  the "Tinshed" is a studio/ office designed and constructed by architect Raffaello Rosselli using materials recovered from a dilapidated and structurally unsound tin shed at the rear of a residential lot. The original shed was disassembled and set aside while a new timber frame was erected. The layers of corrugated metal accumulated over generations of repair were reassembled on three facades. The project embraces that it will continue to change with time through rust, decay and repair.
