Mondrian Inspired Post-It Note Creations by Gabriel De La Mora

Mexican artist Gabriel de la Mora turns snips of Post-It notes into meticulously layered Mondrian-esque constructions sticking up from reams of white paper. Having trained as an architect de la Mora is very methodical in his approach constructing individual pieces layer by layer, carefully building toward a complex finished result. Speaking about his work he says, "Every Post-it marks the place where I wrote a word, the word transforms into a color and a form. The Post-its conceal words that have the same meaning in English and Spanish.”
