Conceptual Artist Wraps an Old Apartment and all its Contents in Clear Plastic

For his latest exhibition at Raven Row titled "Rebecca’s Bagged Place", conceptual artist Iain Baxter& took over the former apartment of Rebecca Levy which occupies the top floor of the Raven Row building and encased every single item in clear plastic—the walls, the floors, pots, pans, ceramic chotchkies and even the toilet. The installation addresses themes of commerce and commodity by converting an old apartment into a product, a package wrapped in plastic ready for public consumption.
