Large Indoor Carpet Made Entirely out of Thousands of Sheets of Folded A4 Paper

WE MAKE CARPETS, a Dutch design trio consisting of Marcia Nolte, Stijn van der Vleuten and Bob Waardenburg, uses everyday products such as plastic forks, paving tiles, pasta, cotton balls and pegs arranged in inventive ways to create large decorative carpets. In October 2013 WE MAKE CARPETS did an artist in residence at De Fabriek in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The residency resulted in the biggest work they made till now, an old industrial hall of 500 square meters filled with over 20.000 sheets of folded A4 papers.
