Mark Rothko Paintings Reinterpreted Using Discarded Plastic Lighters

Inspired by discarded objects found on the street during long walks with his dog, French photographer Eddy De Azevedo has created "Walking My Dog", a series of photographic images created using hundreds of discarded lighters that closely resemble Rothko's Colour Field paintings. His photographs are visually colorful and exhibit a strong graphic sense that informs the content which addresses the relationship we have with our environment, and the pervasion of pollution.
