Artist Project Tells the Stories of Discarded Objects Found in New York City

The "Little Lost Project" is an on going street art project by New-York based artist Yoonjin Lee. Walking through city streets Lee collects items that others have discarded - lighters, paper clips, and subway MetroCards, among other miscellaneous objects and creates little cardboard signs to share their stories of loss and abandonment. Via her website, "Losing your phone can ruin your day for sure but how about losing your favorite lip balm that you always keep in your pocket? It is definitely annoying but you can easily buy a new one. Ever wonder where and what these little objects are doing now?"
