Artist Creates a Life Size Origami Elephant Out of a Single Sheet of Paper

As an ultimate challenge to prove that there are no limits to what can be made out of an uncut square piece of paper, origami artist Sipho Mabona has created a large life-size replica of an elephant standing more than 10 feet tall. It took four weeks for Mabona and a team of assistants to transform the sheet of paper into the body of the elephant, which is now on display at the KKLB museum in Berom√ľnster, Switzerland. "In the art form of origami a simple piece of paper can be transformed into anything imaginable." says Mabona "It’s exactly this transformation, which in my opinion stands for many struggles we have to overcome in life."
