Classic Album Covers Superimposed on their Google Street View Locations

Documenting the changing face of world cities, Artist Halley Docherty has been creating a remarkable collection of images for The Guardian, superimposing classic album covers into their modern-day locations using Google Street View. Following on from his amazing series featuring London’s classic paintings, Docherty’s latest collages highlight the contrast between when the photos were originally taken and what those spots look like now. The series includes Beastie Boys' Paul's Boutique, The Beatles' Abbey Road, PJ Harvey's Stories from the City, Stories from the Sea, Pink Floyd's Animals and more.
