Artist Transforms Strands of His Own Hair into the Playable Strings of a Violin

As part of an annual music event called "Street Musician's Day", London-based artist Tadas Maksimovas transformed his own hair into the playable strings of a violin for an experimental art performance piece titled "Hair Music". The annual music event initiated by Lithuanian musician and actor Andrius Mamontovas welcomes anyone, who plays any instrument, no matter whether one can play several chords or are professional musicians, to become a participant of the festival. The performance piece was created to demonstrates that classical music is by no means restricted to an elite and can become street art.
