Travelling Installation of 1,600 Papier Mache Pandas Aim to Raise Ecological Awareness

In an effort to raise public awareness about the rapid decline of the panda species, French artist Paulo Grangeon worked alongside the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), PMQ, and creative studio AllRightsReserved, to create a fantastic travelling installation featuring a mob of 1,600 papier-mache pandas.
Each sculpture is made from recycled paper and represents exactly the same number of pandas that are still alive in the wild today. The pandas are currently on tour in Hong Kong and have already traveled to many cities around the world, including Paris, Rome, Berlin, and Taipei.
