Amateur Photographer Tao Liu Captures Unexpected Moments on the Streets of China

As photography in China continues to gain recognition, street photographer Tao Liu is definitely one to watch. Liu has quickly gained an international audience for his humorous images, which poke fun at contemporary issues in China. Over the past few years the water meter reader-turned-photographer has used his spare time to capture bizarre and unexpected moments happening on the streets and alleyways in the city of Hefei,  Liu told the Global Times, "I like taking photos because I can hang around on the streets and capture an image when something interested me but was neglected by others. I want to remind people of the touching moments in life,"
