Designers Get to Know Each Other Through Handmade Postcards Sent Across the Ocean

"Dear Data", is an art project by Giorgia Lupi and Stefanie Posavec, two women who have been exchanging postcards filled with fascinating infographics about their lives. Every week since September 2014, Lupi, who lives in New York, and Posavec, who lives in London, have collected and measured a particular type of data about their lives, used this data to make a drawing on a postcard-sized sheet of paper and sent it to each other across the ocean. Speaking about the project they said, "We are trying to capture the life unfolding around us, but instead we are capturing this life through sketching the hidden patterns found within our data.
