A stunning example of the ordinary made extraordinary, artist Tim Moore has recently published a new book titled "Not My Blotting Tissues", which features a collection of found blotting tissues that the author dug out of the trash pile while working as an assistant to Australian artist Del Kathryn Barton. Although they have been executed by pure chance, the works reveal a surprising sense of gestural intent. Via the press release: "These beautifully incidental works indicate a developing direction in Moore’s practice as he embraces more conceptual modes of expression."The book by Sydney-based publisher Formist, features 95 tissue works presented in a soft paperback with a large folding dust jacket.
